iOS 18.7: Final updates for older iPhones

With iOS 18.7, Apple will primarily close security vulnerabilities and improve system stability. No new features are planned. For models like the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, this update represents one of the last updates they will ever receive. These devices are no longer compatible with iOS 26, thus reaching the end of their software lifespan.

iOS 26: The big leap for new devices

iOS 26 is aimed exclusively at the iPhone 11 and all newer models. After a long beta testing phase, the final release is now imminent. Release is expected in mid-September.
