Apple is now accepting orders for the new Pro models. The Apple Watch, AirPods 5, and the two new Macs have been available for order for some time – deliveries will be made in three waves. Those trading in their existing devices can significantly reduce the price.
The store is open: iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are now available for pre-order at apple.com/de and in the Apple Store app. Apple announced the start date in a separate press release: 2 PM CEST. Three waves by the end of September
Apple is staggering deliveries. Everything that was presented on September 9th is available for order now – only the sales launch is staggered.

The foldable iPhone Duo is not included. It will only be available for pre-order from October 16th and will be in stores on October 23rd – a separate, fourth wave more than a month later.
How much the new models cost
Both Pro models are available in four storage levels and in the colors black, silver, polar and the new burgundy.

The price difference between the two models is a constant €150 at every level. For those considering storage capacity: the difference between the smallest and largest configurations of the Pro is exactly €1,500 – more than the price of a complete entry-level device.
Trading in the money significantly reduces the price
Apple's announcement specifies concrete amounts for Germany: For an iPhone 13 or newer, customers can receive a credit of between €195 and €1,020, depending on the model, condition, and configuration. In the best-case scenario, this reduces the starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro to €429.
In addition, there is an offer for services: Anyone who buys an iPhone 18 Pro gets three months of Apple One for free – this applies from September 17th and only to new or qualified returning subscribers.
What's different here
There are two things you should know before ordering. The first concerns the price: Apple raised the prices of all existing models on September 9th, increasing the prices of the iPhone 17 and 17e by €150 and the Air by €100. Anyone wanting to opt for the cheaper model instead of the Pro should therefore expect different prices than in August.
The second issue concerns the software. Apple advertises the Pro models with the next generation of Apple Intelligence, but also states in a footnote to its press release: Siri AI will initially not be available on iOS in the EU, and the rollout will begin in English anyway. Those who order the device specifically for the new assistant features will not receive the full package at launch in this region – the rest of Apple Intelligence will function.
Also new is the accessories: In addition to silicone and functional fabric cases to match the four colors, there is a wrist strap made of recycled polyester in six colors, and the Clear Case can now be attached to it or to the crossbody strap.
What pre-ordering practically offers
There are six days between the start of pre-orders and the start of sales. Anyone who wants to have the device in their hands on September 18th will almost certainly have to pre-order – Apple offers the option of home delivery or in-store pickup at a time of the customer's choosing.
Those who prefer to wait and see have little to lose. The models will remain in stock, and the difference between ordering on Saturday and buying the following week is a matter of days, not weeks.
