On Tuesday, Apple will hold its next virtual keynote with the motto “Hi, Speed” organize and present some interesting products. Thanks to some leakers, we already know what to expect on the evening of the event.

The "Hi, Speed" event will take place on Tuesday, October 13th at 7 p.m. in Germany. As always, it can be streamed on Apple's website or on YouTube or Apple TV. But what exactly will Apple present to us?

Apple Event: Four new iPhone models in the pipeline

Apple will most likely unveil the iPhone 12 series at the Hi, Speed event introduceThe lineup consists of four devices in three sizes. This year, the devices are set to receive a brand new design for the first time since 2017. If previous rumors and leaks are to be believed, the new models will have a square case, like the iPhone 4 or today's iPad Pro. While the two cheaper models have an aluminum frame, the two Pro versions will have a stainless steel frame. In addition, all four new iPhone 12 models will be equipped with OLED displays for the first time. So far, OLED panels have only been used in the Pro models, while Apple has used LCD displays in the lower-priced devices. According to reports, the company will market the new screens as "Super Retina XDR". They are said to be made of a new glass technology that is more stable overall.

iPhone 12: Differences in 5G support

Furthermore, Apple will launch all four iPhone 12 models with 5G support. But there are supposed to be differences. If rumors are to be believed, the iPhone 12 models for the US market will support mmWave and Sub-6 GHz 5G, while the devices in other markets will only appear with Sub-6 GHz 5G. As a reminder, there are two main 5G standards known as Sub-6 GHz and mmWave 5G. Although Sub-6 GHz is slower than mmWave 5G technology, it has a longer range - suitable for rural areas. Since mmWave is faster but has a shorter range, this technology is more intended for large cities or urban areas. You can find more details on the specifications, prices and sales start below.

Apple Event: New wireless chargers

However, yesterday’s tipster also has other Information on disclosed. Apple is said to have developed two new wireless chargers that could be introduced alongside the iPhone 12. Rumors that Apple is planning a less ambitious charging mat than AirPower are not new. Now there is talk of two models. They are to be presented under the names "MagSafe Charger" and "MagSafe Duo Charger" and support a charge of up to 15 watts. Unlike AirPower, however, these products are based on MagSafe technology and therefore work with magnets. A video was leaked in September that possibly such a product shown Based on the names, it can be assumed that two versions will be presented, each of which can charge one or two devices at the same time. Further details are not yet known. But the presentation is expected on October 13th.

Apple Event: HomePod mini

In addition to the iPhone 12 series and new chargers, Apple is planning a brand new HomePod mini as part of the "Hi, Speed" event to introduceThe device will not be launched as a second-generation HomePod, but will be presented as a mini model. A leaker has already made this clear. The HomePod mini will reportedly cost around $99 and measure around 3.3 inches. For comparison: The classic Siri speaker measures 6.8 inches high. The new device is said to have Apple's S5 processor, which was already installed in the Apple Watch Series 5 and SE. Instead of seven tweeters, only two were installed inside - but the sound quality should still be impressive. If the rumors are to be believed, Apple will be accepting pre-orders from November 6th. Delivery of the HomePod mini is scheduled to begin on November 16th.

Apple Event: More rumors at a glance

If the sources are correct, the "Hi, Speed" event will focus on new iPhone models, brand new chargers and the HomePod mini. But what about products like the AirTags, AirPods Studio, Apple TV and more? Details have also been released on this. Regarding the AirTags, Jon Prosser has stated that Apple will not present them on Tuesday. Sources According to Prosser, Apple is planning to present the small trackers in spring 2021. The reason for this further postponement is not known. As for the AirPods Studio, the release of the new audio accessories is expected shortly - but not on Tuesday evening. According to Prosser, the first batch is expected to roll off the production line on October 20, which is why Apple will present the new headphones either via a press release or at a third event in November.

AirPods Studio Prices & Apple TV Gen. 6

While the launch date is still unknown, Prosser claims to have learned the prices. According to the report, Apple will offer the AirPods Studio in two versions. The luxury version of the headphones will cost a whopping $599 and will be made of leather and metal. The sporty version, on the other hand, will have cheaper materials and cost around $350. In addition to the headphones, a new Apple TV model is also being planned. The first rumors and hints in the code were discovered many months ago. However, it is not clear whether Apple will actually present a brand new Apple TV this fall. Some sources have already suggested this, but this should be taken with a grain of salt.

Apple Silicon Macs

While there is still uncertainty in the accessories sector, the launch of the first Apple Silicon Mac is considered certain. The Cupertino-based company has already confirmed this at WWDC 2020. The presentation of the ARM-based device will, however, take place in November. Apple is said to have already held its own keynote address for this. set According to reports, it is a MacBook. However, it remains unclear whether it will be a MacBook Pro, MacBook Air or a brand new MacBook 12″ model. Since the rumors are very contradictory, no concrete prediction can be made.
