Apple is heading into 2025 with big plans. The company, which has long been known as a pioneer in innovation and design, is launching products in 2025 that could set new standards. From the slimmest iPhone ever to a completely new generation of Siri - the new developments are exciting and promising. Below you will get a detailed overview of the five most important Apple products that will stand out in 2025.

Apple has managed to set trends and push technological boundaries with its products year after year. 2025 seems to be no exception. While the competition is catching up in areas such as smartphones, smart home devices and artificial intelligence, Apple wants to maintain its lead - with a mix of functional elegance and practical innovation. The new products promise not only technical improvements but also a user experience that is better integrated into everyday life.

iPhone 17 "Air"

The iPhone 17 "Air" is expected to be one of the most eye-catching products of 2025. With a thickness of just 6 millimeters, it is set to be the thinnest iPhone Apple has ever developed. For comparison: The iPhone 16 Pro is 8.25 millimeters thick - the difference may seem small but it is clearly noticeable. The "Air" will be positioned between the regular iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Pro Max with a 6.6-inch display. The camera has a 48-megapixel lens on the back and it will be one of the first devices ever to be equipped with Apple's new 5G modem. All four new iPhone models this year - from the regular iPhone 17 to the Pro Max - will contain the powerful A19 or A19 Pro chip and the 120Hz ProMotion display technology will be available in all variants for the first time.

AirPods Pro 3

For fans of wireless headphones, the update to the AirPods Pro will be particularly exciting. The third generation of the Pro series will not only offer better sound but also integrate new health functions. Thanks to a new H chip, the sound quality is noticeably improved and active noise cancellation reaches a new level. Rumors suggest that Apple could also introduce health monitoring functions such as heart rate and temperature measurement. In terms of design, it is not yet clear how much the new AirPods will differ from their predecessors, but the slimmer housing of the AirPods 4 could serve as a model here.

Apple Command Center

With the Command Center, Apple is launching a completely new product for the smart home sector. This small, square device is designed to integrate seamlessly into your everyday life. It is intended to be a kind of control center for your home, similar to Amazon's Echo Show but with typical Apple flair. The device has a compact 6-inch display and can be either placed upright or mounted on the wall. You can use it for video calls, watching videos or controlling your smart home devices. Particularly practical: It is portable enough to take with you to different rooms and it is intended to be affordable enough that you can use several of them in your home. The pre-installed apps include classics such as Home, Calendar, Apple Music and Apple Photos. Although the Command Center will not come with its own app store, the integration of Apple Intelligence will make it particularly user-friendly.

iPhone SE 4

The iPhone SE 4 is a breath of fresh air in Apple's affordable iPhone range. With a 6.1-inch OLED display and Face ID, it finally leaves the era of small screens and the Touch ID button behind. The new SE will inherit many of the features that were reserved for the more expensive models in previous years. These include a 48-megapixel single-lens rear camera and Apple's latest 5G modem. The A18 chip used in the iPhone 16 is also included, making the SE 4 a powerful device for little money. With an expected starting price of under 600 euros, it will be of interest to those looking for a modern iPhone at an affordable price. As a reminder, the current model starts at 529 euros.

Siri improvements

2025 will also be an important year for Siri. Apple plans to equip the voice assistant with new functions that go far beyond what was previously possible. One of the biggest innovations is screen awareness. Siri will be able to recognize what is displayed on your screen and execute specific commands based on that. In addition, personal context will be introduced. This means that Siri learns from your habits and stored data to help you better. In June, Apple will introduce iOS 19, a new version of Siri based on a large language model. This "LLM Siri" is intended to be able to better understand and use natural language, similar to ChatGPT or Google Gemini. This will make Siri much more versatile and able to perform complex tasks that were previously not possible.

Apple's plans for 2025: Innovation meets affordability

2025 will be an exciting year for Apple and its fans. With products like the ultra-thin iPhone 17 "Air," the smart command center, and a completely new version of Siri, Apple is continuing its path of innovation. At the same time, with devices like the iPhone SE 4, the company is proving that it's also taking the mid-range market seriously. If you've been waiting for Apple's next big thing, 2025 is the year you don't want to miss. Looking for new accessories?
