If you're a fan of Apple products or just looking for a high-quality monitor, the next Studio Display and Pro Display XDR might be for you. Below we take a detailed look at what you can expect from the new generations of these devices.

Apple is known for its innovation and quality in the technology industry. With the Studio Display and the Pro Display XDR, Apple offers powerful solutions for creative professionals and demanding users. Both displays have their own target audience and offer specific features that set them apart from other monitors on the market.

Studio Display: What to Expect?

The Studio Display was first introduced in March 2022 and impresses with a 27-inch LCD screen, 5K resolution, and a 60Hz refresh rate. Despite the lack of concrete rumors about a new model, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that Apple is working on developing new monitors. There is a possibility that one of these models could function as a smart home hub while in a power-saving state. There is also speculation about a 27-inch display with mini-LED technology and ProMotion, which could support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. However, the potential launch is not expected until late 2024 or early 2025.

Pro Display XDR: Future Prospects

The Pro Display XDR, known for its impressive 6K resolution and extremely high brightness, could soon see a significant refresh. Speculation suggests that the next model could include an Apple silicon chip that the current model lacks and could support additional features such as an improved webcam, speakers and a higher refresh rate.

Expected 32-inch iMac

In addition to the displays, there is also news of a potential 32-inch iMac that could launch in late 2024 or 2025. This device would feature mini-LED backlighting and possibly other advanced technologies. However, Apple has officially denied plans for a 27-inch iMac with Apple silicon, instead suggesting that the Studio Display will be paired with a Mac Studio or Mac mini.

Apple Displays and iMac: What the Rumor Mill Reveals

The rumors surrounding the new Apple displays and the possible 32-inch iMac show that Apple is continuing to improve its technology and adapt it to the needs of its customers. Even though many details are still uncertain, it's worth keeping an eye on developments so you don't miss any announcements. It will be exciting to see what new features and improvements Apple will introduce in the coming years. Looking for new accessories?
