Many well-known and accurate leakers have claimed that an Apple event will take place on March 23rd. Now it seems clear – Apple wanted to deliberately deceive these leakers.
Apple is notoriously a secretive company that prides itself on its ability to surprise and delight its customers. The possibility of leaks reaching the media is in direct contrast to this. It is now becoming increasingly obvious that Apple is on the defensive. Many reputable Apple leakers have reported that an Apple event would take place on March 23. Invitations for an event usually come at least a week beforehand. But March 16 passed with no mention of an event. So what happened? Most leakers have not commented on it so far - except for Jon Prosser. In his latest video He claims that Apple deliberately spread false information to promote an event on March 23rd.
April event includes a video recording
The whole point of the whole thing was to find the leaks within the company. By distributing fake information to a select number of employees, Apple is able to narrow down where the leaks are coming from. Prosser explained that he has a separate source who has been reporting an April event since early February. He decided to ignore this source because every other source stated March 23rd. Apple seems to be cleaning up internally. But what can we expect in April? According to Prosser, the April event will be a pre-recorded video with details on several products that will be released. The "AirTags" and an updated 10.2-inch iPad are expected to be announced. There is a small chance that the "AirPods 3" or the next iPad Pro will also be released at the event. (Image: Apple)
