Dear Apfelpatienten,

We would like to warmly welcome you to our app. This is our event screen - cool or cool? Apple events and software updates are displayed here. But the area is also used for our own purposes. Now to the main point.

We are overwhelmed by the response. At one point we were at number 17 in the App Store charts - news section! Awesome!! But unfortunately we have had to realize that not everyone had a smooth start. Thanks to your feedback, we are now aware of many of the bugs and are working hard to solve them. That is why your feedback is all the more important. If you find any errors, please let us know as precisely as possible via the feedback form - here is the link. Alternatively, you will find a link in the settings menu within the app. I would also like to briefly explain a change to you. Previously, we had separated the News & Rumors sections in the navigation. From now on, these will be listed under "At a glance". The reason for this change is technical in nature.

Do you have a minute? Great!

Whatever the case, as I said, we are in the process of solving the problems. If you feel like it, you can recommend the app to friends, share it on social media, or similar. The more of us there are, the more fun it will be. By the way, version 1.0.1 is currently being rolled out. This means that not all of you will be able to access it straight away. Please be patient. So just check the App Store often - THANK YOU! In version 1.0.1 we have solved some known bugs. However, it remains to be seen whether we have actually succeeded. Further bug fixes will follow. For example, you should now be able to connect another device using the restore button. As mentioned above - if you find any errors, please report them to us. If we don't hear from you, then hopefully you will be completely happy. With that in mind, best wishes and stay healthy.

PS: There is no pop-up for rating the app here - and there won't be one. We find that annoying too. But if you have the time and inclination to give us a few stars, you are very welcome to do so. It obviously makes a better impression. Thank you for that too. Have a nice evening. (Image: Apfelpatient)

Milan founded Apfelpatient in 2016 and has been responsible for all editorial content since 2018 — news, rumors, guides, and product reviews. Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
