New iPhone Accessories 2025: Cases, Bumpers and Crossbody Bags

A new iPhone almost always brings with it a fresh new range of accessories. Previous-generation MagSafe accessories and cases either no longer fit or seem outdated compared to the new design. Therefore, Apple is using the launch of the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air to introduce a whole range of new accessories. In addition to the classic silicone and clear cases, a crossbody strap and special Beats cases are also available for the first time. All items will be released on September 12, one week before the new iPhones.

To ensure that your iPhone is not only securely protected but also fits your individual style, Apple is expanding its range of accessories with several new products. The selection ranges from simple silicone cases and ultra-thin bumpers to an innovative case made of functional fabric. There's also more color variety than in previous years. In addition, the Crossbody Strap introduces a completely new approach to carrying the iPhone like a small shoulder bag.

iPhone 17: Silicone Case and Clear Case

For the standard iPhone 17 model, there's a matte silicone case available in Neon Yellow, Nautical Blue, Misty Violet, Light Moss Green, and Black. It costs €59. Apple also offers a clear case, which is available in only one color.

iPhone Air: Air Case, Bumper and MagSafe Battery

The iPhone Air is the thinnest iPhone ever. A matching semi-transparent Air Case, just 0.9 millimeters thick, is available. It's available in two versions and costs €59. Alternatively, there's a bumper for €45, a slim polycarbonate band that protects only the outer edge and is reminiscent of the iPhone 4 design. A new MagSafe battery pack is also available exclusively for the Air, costing €115.

iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max: Silicone, Clear Case and Functional Fabric

Silicone cases are also available for the Pro models, this time in neon yellow, mist violet, midnight, orange, terracotta, and black. A clear case is also available, but only in one version. New and exclusive to the Pro series is the so-called functional fabric case, also known internationally as the TechWoven Case. It is made of interwoven plastic fibers and is available in blue, violet, sienna, green, and black. The price is €69.

Crossbody strap: Carry your iPhone like a bag

A particularly striking feature in the new range of accessories is the adjustable crossbody strap. It can be combined with all new cases, except the Clear Cases, and costs €69. The length ranges from 1.08 to 2.08 meters and is continuously adjustable. The strap is attached via small loops on the bottom of the case. A magnetic mechanism ensures that the adjustment stays secure. The strap's purpose is to carry the iPhone on your body like a bag while keeping it handy at all times. The crossbody strap is available in ten colors.

Beats cases for iPhone 17

Additionally, Beats, the Apple subsidiary, is launching its own cases for the first time. Three versions are available: the basic Beats Case, the more durable Beats Rugged Case, and the Beats Kickstand Case, which features a wrist strap with integrated kickstand function. All models are available in four colors and are compatible with the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

With the new covers, bumpers, cases, and crossbody strap, Apple underscores that iPhone accessories have long been more than just protection.
