Apple introduced a new iPhone for beginners on April 15th – the iPhone SE 2020The first orders will be delivered on March 24th. But what exactly do the first critics say? Below is a summary.

There has been a lot of speculation about the iPhone SE 2020: In the end, it has a familiar design with the latest processor and overall solid features. The critics say  "a great price-performance ratio". That means the reactions have been very positive. Both the battery life and the camera have been highly praised. There is basically nothing negative to report. TechCrunch, for example, writes:

It's just a great value, it's just stunning and it's a damn good phone. It's going to be a great phone for millions of people - $399 for an iPhone with Apple's latest processor on board is huge.

It will be a box office hit

Some say that the iPhone SE is a win-win situation. Both Apple and the end user benefit from the new budget iPhone. Engadget calls the new smartphone with the A13 chip "the best budget smartphone there is".

It's not just because the iPhone SE is cheap, although it certainly is: The base model costs just $1,399. No, what makes the SE such a valuable asset is that it doesn't behave like a $399 phone. The iPhone SE isn't just a good deal - it's a big deal. For people who cling to old phones because new ones are too big, too expensive, or too fussy, the iPhone SE is the right phone at the right time at the right price.

It is rumored that Apple primarily wants to appeal to iPhone 6 or iPhone 6S owners with the new iPhone SE. But iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 owners could also like the device. All in all, it can be assumed that the iPhone SE 2020 will be a box office hit. It is available in three colors (black, white & red) and in three storage variants (64, 128 & 256 GB). It can be ordered as usual from Apple or alternatively from various retailers - also Amazon already has the new miracle iPhone in its range recorded.

Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
