Apple released the third beta of iOS 13.4 a few hours ago and made several changes. Particularly interesting, however, is "OS Recovery" – a new feature for restoring iPhones and iPads.
The preview of iOS 13.4 has already revealed some unpublished features and provided insight into new products. This time, too, there is an interesting leak. The US blog 9to5mac reports that the third beta of iOS 13.4 contains a function that allows an iPhone or iPad to be restored over the Internet. If an iPhone or iPad stops working, it usually has to be restored via a Mac or PC. But Apple now seems to be revising this process. The new code is said to contain instructions that should enable an over-the-air restore. This means that if an iPhone or iPad needs to be restored, users could initiate this process directly over the Internet without the need for a Mac or PC.

According to the code, other devices besides iPhone and iPad will also be able to benefit from it. However, the new feature will support both wireless and wired recovery.
