Apple announced today that prices will be increasing for some of its popular services. These price adjustments affect Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and Apple News+. In this article, you'll learn what changes you can expect and how the new prices will affect subscription costs.

The prices for Apple TV+ are increasing from €6.99 to €9.99 per month. For Apple Arcade, the monthly price is increasing from €4.99 to €6.99. The monthly cost for Apple News+ is now $12.99. The Apple One Bundle, which combines several services, is also becoming more expensive.

The latest price changes for Apple services

The price increase for Apple TV+ is particularly notable as this is the second price adjustment in two years. The service launched in 2019 with a price of €4.99 per month and was increased to €6.99 per month last year. With the current price increase, Apple TV+ is reaching the level of its premium video competitors. Apple One, which bundles various services such as TV+, Arcade, iCloud and Music, is also becoming more expensive. The individual package now costs €19.95 per month while the family package is €25.95 per month.

Why is Apple raising the prices of its services?

The price increases will apply to new subscribers immediately. Existing subscribers will notice the changes at their next contract renewal - 30 days after today. Apple emphasizes that the price adjustments are necessary to continue to offer high-quality entertainment, content and innovative features in its services. Despite the increases, the prices for iCloud, Apple Music and Fitness+ will remain unchanged for the time being.

Challenges and opportunities

The price adjustments for Apple services such as TV+, Arcade and News+ are a response to the growing competition in the video streaming and entertainment space. Apple aims to continue to provide high-quality content and features while adapting to changing market conditions. Existing subscribers should prepare for the upcoming price adjustments while new subscribers should note the updated rates. While the rising prices may be challenging, Apple remains committed to providing its customers with the best possible experience. Are you looking for new accessories?
