Apple is once again raising the price of Apple One. This time, twelve European countries are affected, including Switzerland. Germany and Austria are not on the list – at least not in this round.
Apple has raised prices for its Apple One Family and Apple One Premium plans in several European countries. Affected subscribers are being notified by email starting today, as one user on X demonstrates with a screenshot of the notification.
New customers will pay the higher price immediately; for existing subscriptions, it will apply from the next renewal date. The individual plan remains unchanged in all countries. The overview iCloud explained: Services, Storage and iCloud+ shows which services are included in each tier and how storage is distributed.
Key Facts at a Glance
- Apple One Family will become more expensive in twelve European countries, Apple One Premium in three of them.
- Switzerland is affected by both packages: Family now costs CHF 33.90, Premium CHF 42.90.
- In Germany and Austria, the prices remain at 19.95, 25.95 and 34.95 euros.
- In Spain and Portugal, both packages will increase by 2 euros per month.
- Existing subscriptions will be changed upon their next renewal; new customers will pay more immediately.
These prices are now valid
Eleven EU countries and Switzerland, the only non-EU country affected, will see price increases. Apple One Family will become more expensive in Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Switzerland. Apple One Premium will only increase in Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland.
For the German-speaking region and the two countries with a double increase, the prices look like this:
| Country | Individual | Family | Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Germany | 19,95 € | 25,95 € | 34,95 € |
| Austria | 19,95 € | 25,95 € | 34,95 € |
| Switzerland | CHF 23.90 | CHF 33.90 (previously CHF 31.90) | CHF 42.90 (previously CHF 40.90) |
| Spain | 19,95 € | €27.95 (previously €25.95) | €36.95 (previously €34.95) |
| Portugal | 16,95 € | €23.95 (previously €21.95) | €32.95 (previously €30.95) |
The figures for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are taken from Apple's country-specific pages, such as the Apple One page for Germany and the Apple One page for Switzerland. In Spain and Portugal, each of the two packages now costs €2 more per month. Spanish families therefore pay more for Apple One than German families: €27.95 compared to €25.95.
One of several rounds this year
Apple One has already seen several price increases in 2026. The Family and Premium plans previously saw price hikes in countries including the US, Australia, Canada, and the UK. The Individual plan was also increased in the US, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico.
In Germany, the price of a single service recently changed: Apple Music became more expensive in July, while the Apple One bundle remained unaffected. The latest price increase for the Apple TV streaming service was also limited to four countries.
What Swiss subscribers need to know now
For subscribers in Switzerland, the price will not change immediately, but with the next billing period. Until then, you have time to check your current package.
I find it striking that Apple is sparing the individual plan in all affected countries. Only the two plans that can be shared with up to five other people are becoming more expensive. When fully utilized, the €2 surcharge is spread across six people – that's about 33 cents per person per month, and that's precisely where the increase is least noticeable.
In Germany and Austria, nothing changes with this round of changes. Another step from September also bypassed the German-speaking region: the expansion of iCloud+ to include Apple TV and Apple Arcade does not apply here.
