This feature provides a clear overview of the past year in music, revealing which artists, songs, and genres influenced your listening habits. Replay 2025 expands on these insights, combining personal data, global trends, and new perspectives on Apple Music usage.

Apple Music Replay has been one of the streaming service's most popular features for years. As soon as the new edition is released, users can see how their music year looked, including the number of hours, songs, and artists they listened to. Replay 2025 stays true to this tradition but expands the visualization with additional categories, making personal patterns even clearer. At the same time, Apple Music is further developing the insights for artists and bringing the Replay concept into the real world for the first time in the form of an art exhibition.

Apple Music Replay 2025: Overview of features

Apple Music Replay 2025 summarizes the music year, showing total listening time in minutes, most listened-to artists, personal top genres, and the longest listen streak for a single artist. The familiar Replay playlists will remain available throughout the year, although the December release is considered the highlight.

Three new additional categories have been added, showing personal listening behavior from new perspectives:

Discovery: Artists who received increased attention for the first time last year
Loyalty: Artists to whom people regularly returned
Comebacks: Artists who have reappeared more frequently in rotation after a break.

Replay 2025 is available directly from the Home tab in Apple Music, making it easier to find and share.

Replay 2025 for Artists: Expanded data for musicians

In addition to User Insights, Apple has also updated Replay 2025 for Artists. Musicians and their teams now have access to detailed information, including the number of listeners, top countries and cities, total streamed minutes, and most-listened-to songs. Replay for Artists also displays the number of Shazam identifications, radio airplay, chart positions, and playlist features.

New features include data on audience growth and year-on-year comparisons that visualize the development of individual performance. This provides a better overall picture of reach within Apple Music.

Replay Gallery: Apple Music brings Replay to the real world in 2025

For the first time, Apple Music Replay is being showcased outside the app. To coincide with Miami Art Week, Apple Music presents the Replay Gallery. Inspired by the year's most significant musical moments, the exhibition features multi-format artworks from artists including Angel Otero, Calida Rawles, Devon Turnbull, Gabriel Moses, Henry Taylor, Jeremy Deller, Sara Sadik, and Tommy Malekoff. With the launch of Apple Music Replay 2025, Apple has released the most-listened-to songs of the year worldwide. The global top five are:

The complete list of the 100 most popular songs is available as a separate Apple Music playlist. The year-end charts track streams from November 1, 2024, to October 31, 2025. As a result, some newly released songs appear late in the list. One example is Taylor Swift's "The Life of a Showgirl," which was less than a month into the tracking period. Apple also shared some interesting facts about listening behavior. K-pop band Demon Hunters' song "Golden" held the number one spot on the Daily Top 100 for 70 consecutive days. He even has one song reach number four on the US charts.
