Apple restructures leadership: New names in management

Apple has updated its official leadership page, announcing several changes to its management structure. The adjustments affect both existing executives and new members of the leadership team. In total, there are two organizational changes and three new names on the leadership page.

The changes primarily affect the legal department, the services and health division, and the company's design departments.

Some of the adjustments were already announced at the end of last year. These are due to planned retirements within the management team and an organizational restructuring of certain departments.

With the updated leadership page, Apple is now officially implementing these changes and showing how the company's management structure is evolving.

Changes in the legal department

Apple had already announced that Lisa Jackson, Vice President of Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives, would be retiring. Her organization will initially be led by Katherine Adams.

Adams, previously Senior Vice President and General Counsel, is now listed on the updated leadership page as Senior Vice President for Government Affairs. Her own retirement is planned for the end of 2026.

Jennifer Newstead will assume the position of General Counsel. She was previously a legal advisor at the U.S. State Department and most recently Chief Legal Officer at Meta. Since March 1, 2026, she has been Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Apple.

Changes to services and health

There's also a change in the service sector. Eddy Cue now holds the title of Senior Vice President of Services and Health.

The reason behind this is an organizational decision by Apple to more closely integrate its health and fitness division into its services business. This restructuring is part of a larger reorganization of the leadership team following the resignation of Jeff Williams as Chief Operating Officer last year.

New design leadership at Apple

Apple has also added two new executives to its design structure.

Steve Lemay will become Vice President of Human Interface Design. His appointment was announced at the end of last year, following Alan Dye's departure from Apple to join Meta.

In addition, Molly Anderson is listed as Vice President of Industrial Design. She has led the industrial design team since 2024, but this is the first time she is listed on the company's official leadership page.

Three new names on the leadership page

The changes result in three new people appearing on Apple's leadership page:

Jennifer Newstead – Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Steve Lemay – Vice President of Human Interface Design
Molly Anderson – Vice President of Industrial Design
