Apple has once again confirmed that its AI platform Apple Intelligence will be available in several new languages from April 2025, including German! New languages for Apple Intelligence from April
In one press release For the launch of the iPhone 16e, Apple announced that the following languages will be supported starting in April:
- French
- German
- Italian
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Spanish
- Japanese
- Korean
- Chinese (simplified)
- English (Singapore)
- English (India)
The update will most likely be released with iOS 18.4, which is not currently in beta testing but will be launched soon. The latest public iOS version is currently iOS 18.3.
Why the expansion is important
Apple has always placed great importance on the localization of its operating systems. But in the case of Apple Intelligence, the whole thing is even more complex. Voice AI requires precise data models to enable natural interactions. In addition, Apple must work with local companies and authorities in some countries to implement its AI technology.
