Apple today officially sent out invitations to the digital WWDC 2020 keynote and updated the Developer app in the App Store. The company also announced further details about the 1-on-1 Labs.
As part of today's updates, Cupertino has announced the annual Apple Design Awards for June 29. A post states:
Apps and games created by millions of developers around the world have positively impacted people's daily lives. Join us in celebrating the developers who used their ingenuity, intelligence, and wit to build this year's Apple Design Award winners.
The company also announced further details regarding the 1-on-1 labs that are offered every year during WWDC week. They will also be held this year. The sessions will last between 10 and 55 minutes and will be conducted via a Webex audio call. Registered developers can submit requests and receive a confirmation by email. in addition:
iOS 14, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14, watchOS 7 and macOS 10.16 are coming
Requests for next-day appointments are accepted and can be made by members of the Apple Developer Program, Apple Developer Enterprise Program, or Swift Student Challenge winners. You can submit a request Monday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PDT.
Your appointment confirmation email will include the time and duration of your appointment (between 10 and 55 minutes, depending on the lab). It will also include a link to a Webex audio call where you can connect to an Apple technician and share your screen if you wish. Recordings are not allowed; be prepared to take notes. Please do not share any confidential information during your appointment.
