The sixth generation of the popular smartwatch and a cheaper model have now been officially unveiled. Let's start with the Apple Watch Series 6. Thanks to advanced algorithms that analyze the color of the wearer's blood to determine the oxygen level, users can use the Apple Watch Series 6 to measure the oxygen level in the blood directly from their wrist. The measurement can be carried out manually within 15 seconds - during sleep phases it is done automatically. According to Apple, the sixth generation of the smartwatch has the new S6 chip with a dual-core processor based on the A13 chip. This is said to be 20 percent faster than its predecessor. In addition, the Series 6 has a 2.5x brighter display and an always-on altimeter.
The Apple Watch SE is coming
The Apple Watch Series 6 is also available in a new blue aluminum case and PRODUCT(RED). In addition, the classic stainless steel gold and stainless steel graphite have been updated. But that's not all. Of course, the Series 6 also comes with new watch faces, including a tachymeter, MeMoji, striped watch faces and more. In terms of availability, Apple said that the device can be pre-ordered starting today and deliveries should start at the end of the week - the Series 6 starts at $399. In addition to the sixth Generation A cheaper model called the Apple Watch SE was also unveiled. The product is based on the Series 5 and offers a built-in compass in addition to the S5 chip.
