Apple held its usual big event in September 2025, unveiling new iPhones and Apple Watch models. However, the presentation was apparently just one part of the annual program. Insiders expect that up to six more products could be released by the end of 2025. This shows that Apple isn't just focusing on the iPhone 17, but is preparing a wide range of innovations.

Traditionally, September is the year that focuses on new iPhones and the Apple Watch. Several models were announced for 2025: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone Air, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch SE 3, and AirPods Pro 3. All devices will be available in stores on September 19. But the roadmap doesn't end there. Several reports indicate that Apple could announce additional products in October and beyond. These include new devices from various categories, some of which promise significant technological leaps.

Apple TV

A new Apple TV is expected to feature an A17 Pro chip, which supports the revamped version of Siri with Apple Intelligence. The hardware will be complemented by an Apple-developed Wi-Fi chip, which is said to be compatible with Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7. Rumors of an integrated FaceTime camera have also been circulating. Whether this will be included in the upcoming model remains unclear.

HomePod mini

The HomePod mini could receive a comprehensive upgrade. An S9 chip or an even more powerful model is planned, also with support for the new version of Siri. Added to that will be an Apple-developed Wi-Fi chip with Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 support, improved sound quality, and a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip. New color variants, such as red, are also being discussed.

AirTag

A new AirTag is also likely. The next generation is expected to offer up to three times the range for locating objects. It will also feature a tamper-proof speaker, along with low-battery alerts.

iPad Pro

The iPad Pro is expected to receive a significant upgrade in 2025. Equipped with an M5 chip, it could feature two front-facing cameras. These should enable high-quality photos and video calls in both portrait and landscape modes.

Vision Pro

The Vision Pro is also set to receive updates. Plans call for either an M4 or M5 chip, which should boost the mixed reality headset's performance. There will also be a redesigned headband for greater comfort. A new color version in Space Black could also be offered.

Studio Display 2

A new version of the Studio Display with mini-LED backlighting is being discussed. Launch is expected in late 2025 or early 2026. However, the market launch could be delayed if new Macs with M5 chips also don't arrive until next year.

Macs with M5 chip

Several reports suggest that MacBook Pro models with M5-series chips won't launch until early 2026. A 2025 launch date for other Macs, such as the iMac or Mac mini, is also uncertain. If the release of these devices is delayed, the Studio Display could also not be updated until 2026.

Apple remains in focus even after the iPhone 17

2025 is already a significant year for Apple. The iPhone 17 and the new Apple Watch models have laid the foundation. But the other planned products indicate that much more is to come: from the Apple TV to the HomePod mini to the Studio Display 2. Whether Apple will plan a dedicated event for this or simply announce the new products via press release remains to be seen. What is clear, however, is that Apple is consistently expanding its product range and has a host of innovations in store for 2025.
