The well-informed and well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has expanded his forecast for 2018. The content ranges from the popular Mac Mini to the long-awaited QI charging mat AirPower.
Will 2018 be hotter than expected?
Ming-Chi Kuo has his report to investors on July 27th of this year. If he is not mistaken, Apple will renew almost everything.
Not only will new iPhones, iPads and Apple Watch be brought into the next generation, but the Macs will also be revised.
iPhones and iPads
It had already been suspected that an iPad Pro 12.9" with Face ID would be released, and this was confirmed by Kuo. But now he also believes that there will be another iPad, namely an 11" model. Both will do without the home button. The iPhone X will continue with a 5.8" and will also have a big brother with a full 6.5" display - the Plus version. Both will have an OLED display. Another iPhone with a 6.1" LCD will also be part of the lineup.
iMac and Mac Mini
The iMac is said to be getting a graphics performance update and new CPUs. It is unclear which chips these are.
After four years, the Mac Mini will also receive an update. Kuo said nothing about the specifications, but a faster CPU and GPU should be certain - whether there will be any changes to the design also remains unclear.
MacBook and MacBook Pro
The MacBook and the Pro version will be launched with new processors. A new entry-level model will also be introduced in the MacBook fleet, which will replace the dusty MacBook Air, according to Kuo.
Apple Watch
The 4th generation is set to come with larger displays. A topic that has already been the subject of much speculation. But Kuo gave concrete figures for the first time. The models are set to hit the market with 1.57" and 1.78". This small increase in size is likely to be made possible by a narrower display edge. The heart rate monitor will also be improved.

AirPower and AirPods 2
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will start mass production of AirPower and AirPods 2 in the third quarter. The price of AirPower was last estimated at 150 yuan.
