On March 25th, the time has finally come. The long-awaited and first keynote of the new year will take place as usual in the Steve Jobs Theater. An insider reveals what Apple will present on that day.

There was a lot of discussion and speculation. Some thought it would be an event focusing on the streaming service and the news subscription, while others thought Apple would also present new hardware products. The latter seems unlikely to be the case. Apple has already announced new iPad models and an update of the iMac family presented by means of a press release. Although the AirPods 2, AirPower and the new iPod touch are still pending, things are not looking good. Author Binyamin Goldman claims to have learned from an insider what we can expect on Apple's upcoming event actually still expected. Accordingly, in addition to the new streaming service and news subscription, an Apple credit card is also to be introduced. The insider has given details such as launch dates and prices.

TV streaming service starts later than expected

According to the report, Apple's streaming service will launch later than many expected. There have been several delays and the final launch date is now set for summer 2019. Nevertheless, Cupertino wants to promote the new service in advance via the TV app with various trailers. The offer will include in-house productions as well as third-party content and will cost $9.99 per month. Specific partners were not named, but they are said to be well-known studios. As soon as the new service starts, the TV app will also be rolled out again. This will also be available on various smart TVs. Roku and Amazon Fire compatibility is also planned.

magazine subscription

According to the insider, the new magazine subscription will start in April. In addition to magazines, it will also include content from Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal. The subscription will also cost $9.99. Goldman writes that Apple is planning a subscription package, according to which all services will be offered at a preferential price - a family package is also being planned. However, this will only be offered later.

Apple Pay credit card

Recently, an Apple credit card was reportedAccording to Goldman's source, Cupertino is also planning to present this at the upcoming Apple keynote. It is called Apple Pay Card and will of course have other benefits in addition to the world-famous logo.

Among other things, there will be general cashback promotions like other providers. The bonus will be even bigger when you buy Apple products. Due to the high level of acceptance, the Apple credit card will run through the Mastercard network. The issuing of the credit card will be handled in cooperation with the financial institution Goldman Sachs.
