According to speculation, it is conceivable that new AirPods Pro Lite will be released without ANC, i.e., without active noise cancellation. Now, the DigiTimes have learned from suppliers that the new AirPods X will indeed be in the same design as the AirPods Pro, but will be available without ANC functionality. They were originally supposed to launch in May - but the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is delaying the whole thing.
