Apple TV+ was officially launched a few weeks ago. Although the library is currently small, the titles already available are all the more captivating. However, the first reviews left many users unsettled.
The first reviews for "The Morning Show" were anything but rosy. But why? The producers of the popular series have an answer. The reviews at the time were an open attack on Apple, not a serious review of the series itself. Apparently, the critics weren't evaluating the actual content so much as they were attacking Apple. Both Kerry Ehrin and Mimi Leder commented on the mediocre reviews of "The Morning Show" at the Code Media conference in Los Angeles. They believe that the critics, as a whole, were attacking Apple's new service. After all, the series is more than well-received by most users.
"When these reviews came in, I didn't know what show they were watching. I thought they were crazy. I thought there were a lot of Apple haters who just wanted Apple to fail. The reviews felt like an attack on Apple." – said Leder in an interview.
The makers of the series agree. Critics have seized the opportunity to rate Apple TV+ itself - the title was only of secondary importance. This suspicion is confirmed when survey results in various communities are considered. Although Apple does not publish concrete figures, reports say that the executives in Cupertino are more than satisfied. There is even talk of further series seasons.
