Apple has introduced some interesting new features in iOS 14.5. But the company is also working on features that are not yet available.
As the US blog 9to5mac reported, there are clues in the iOS 14.5 code that point to a feature called "FinHealth." This is said to be a function that analyzes personal finances. Based on this, suggestions are provided that are intended to improve the user's financial "health." This means that the US blog believes that the Financial Health "FHSmart Feature" could use Apple's machine learning in conjunction with the Wallet app to automatically analyze the user's spending based on things like retailers, recurring expenses, irregular purchases, and more. Based on this information, recommendations could be made that benefit the user. However, the feature is not entirely new. This already exists in the Apple Card. The new version discovered in the iOS 14.5 code could therefore be a derivative of it. But that's not all. Something also seems to be happening in the area of Apple credit cards.
iOS 14.5: The internal codename is “Madison”
9to5mac has discovered clues suggesting the Apple Card could receive a Family feature. According to the code, Apple appears to be working on a type of multi-user account. Internally called "Madison," the new feature will allow users to share the same Apple Card with other family members via iCloud Family Sharing. Cardholders can invite other people to use their card and track spending in the Wallet app. According to the code, "Daily Cash" will also be available to family members. The description reads:
Share your Apple Card with eligible friends and family members in your Family Group. Build credit together, track spending, and earn Daily Cash.
But that's not all. The cardholder can also set the spending limit for each person. This is particularly useful for children. The code also states that the Apple Card can only be shared with people who are at least 13 years old. Apple's credit card is not yet available in this country.
