Apple released iOS 13.5.1 to all users on June 1st. However, known bugs were not fixed, but only a jailbreak gap was closed.

Shortly after the release of iOS 13.5, Apple rolled out a follow-up update to provide a gap which enabled a jailbreak. But no bugs were fixed. Now complaints are being documented that the iPhone under iOS 13.5.1 is said to have massive battery problems. ZDNet:

Have you noticed that you need to charge your iPhone's battery more often since installing iOS 13.5.1? You may even have noticed that your iPhone feels warm—or even hot—even when it's not doing anything.

Yes, it seems like this version suffers from another battery drain issue.

If you take a look at various forums, you will quickly see that the current iOS version is causing a battery problem. There have also been a few complaints in our community. According to them, devices are discharging much faster, even in standby mode. Another unpleasant side effect is iPhones overheating.

iOS 13.6 provides a solution

Such complaints are also documented in Apple's own support forum. The company itself has not yet commented on the matter. But the problem actually only seems to occur under iOS 13.5.1. Any device generation can be affected. A more detailed analysis has shown that the problem does not occur under iOS 13.6. Accordingly, Apple seems to have successfully fixed the problem in the next iOS version. The update is currently in the third beta. It is not currently known when the final version will be rolled out. But the launch seems to be imminent, as the update contains the new CarKey function that BMW already has in its own app. implemented This means that the beta phase of iOS 13.6 could be shorter than initially expected. AirPods Pro on special offer at Amazon – now available for 213 eurosmonthly. Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
