It's been a very exciting few days for Instagram. While old features are disappearing, new and, above all, useful features are being introduced - including the latest one in terms of fraud.

Phishing emails are a big problem these days - while some of these emails are very easy to spot, others can hardly be distinguished from the original. It is therefore not surprising that there are still users who fall for them. But what can you do about it? How can a company fight back when cyber criminals steal the company logo and use it for fraudulent purposes? Instagram has a solution - "Emails from Instagram". As has now become known, the Facebook group wants to offer its users a way to compare data. Every Instagram user gets an area in the app that documents all official emails. This means that if the user receives an email from Instagram and is not sure about its authenticity, they can go directly to the Instagram application and make the comparison in the "Emails from Instagram" area.

How to find “Emails from Instagram”

If it is a real email, it will appear in the relevant section - anything else would be a fake. This new function is not only a real solution but also probably the best way to immediately recognize phishing emails. The function - "Emails from Instagram" - can be accessed in the Instagram settings under Security. All official emails from the last 14 days are archived there.

The new feature is probably Instagram's response to the major phishing attack at the end of August - this was discovered and published by Sophos at the time. The feature is currently being rolled out, so it may happen that not every user has immediate access to it. You can find more news about Instagram below. (Photo by TeroVesalainen / Bigstockphoto)

Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
