The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has added seven iPhone models to its regulatory database that are most likely variants of the upcoming iPhone 13.

The Eurasian Economic Commission database has added a number of part numbers listed as “Smartphones ‘Apple’ models.” It goes on to say that these models run on “software version iOS 14,” confirming that they are iPhones and almost certainly variants of the upcoming “iPhone 13” lineup. Model numbers A2628, A2630, A2634, A2635, A2640, A2643, and A2645 have been registered in the EEC database under a single filing. In the past, the EEC the model numbers are divided into two or more different sections.

iPhone 13 expected to be released in September

But that doesn't seem to indicate a technological difference between the models or series. Apple won't officially announce the next iPhone until September. However, supply chain reports already say that Apple's orders for camera VCM components exceed those of all Android manufacturers combined. Separately, other reports claim that the 2021 iPhones will have larger batteries compared to the 12 series. Production of potential 120Hz ProMotion displays is also said to have started, as is production of the "A15" processor. (Photo by leungchopan / Bigstockphoto)

Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
