TV manufacturer LG unveiled the new 2020 8K TV range at the end of last week. A detailed presentation of the individual devices will follow as part of a presentation at CES 2020. But now there is good news for owners of “older” LG OLED TVs.

In a short announcement, LG has unveiled additional TV models and revealed new details about a future update. According to the report, the Apple TV application will also appear on LG OLED models from 2018 and 2019. These would have access to Apple TV+ and all iTunes content via the Apple TV app. However, the company did not provide any specific details. The update is to be made available in the course of this year. LG did not reveal which models will actually be included. Whether AirPlay 2 and HomeKit will follow also remains unknown - but it is not expected. A very good alternative is of course still the Apple TV Box itself. If you don't have one yet but are interested, you can find it in our Shop on Amazon. You can find further announcements from CES 2020 below. (Photo by kobby_dagan / Bigstockphoto)

Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
