Apple's Chief Design Officer Sir Jonathan Paul – also known as "Jony" Ive – has now left Apple. LoveFrom is his future.

At the end of June, it was announced that Apple's Chief Design Officer Jony Ive would be leaving the company for good at the end of 2019. Now the time has come - Apple has revised its own page, which lists the most important board members. When the news became known, it was a big shock for many fans. But he is said to continue to work for Apple on a freelance basis. It is not known what this collaboration will look like. There are already initial doubts, because it is difficult to imagine that Apple could develop products in the field of design with an external company.

Jony is a unique figure in the design world and his role in Apple's revival cannot be overstated.

Tim Cook announced at the time.

Evans Hankey and Alan Dye appointed as directors

When the announcement was made, it wasn't just fans who were shocked by the news. Apple's stock also dropped for a while. But who will be Jony's successor? This question remains unanswered for the time being. There is no real Chief Design Officer yet, which is why the position does not appear in the biography. Apple's design department is currently headed by two people - Evans Hankey and Alan Dye. Both are currently Vice Presidents and report to Apple's COO (Chief Operating Officer) Jeff Williams. It remains to be seen how Apple's design department will develop in the future.  (Image: Apple)

Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
