The band is made of a special, stretchy silicone material, but lacks a traditional clasp mechanism. However, this promising concept now seems to be causing problems. While some note that the band doesn't "stretch" over time, other users report cracks and more. Apple Watch Solo Loop frustrates users
I loved the Solo Loop because it was truly the most comfortable Apple Watch band and I wore it daily. Unfortunately, a micro-tear developed and it broke after about 10 months. I would replace it but they are too expensive and the standard sport band, while not as comfortable, does the job.
At this point I would like to note that similar reports have already been documented in recent weeks and months – but not to this extent.
Now it seems as if the number of complaints is increasing. But what do you do if the Solo Loop breaks? Some users have reported that they have contacted Apple Support. In most cases, this has replaced the defective wristbands. It is therefore worth it for those affected to contact Apple. It remains to be seen whether the company will comment directly on this at some point. If reports of these problems continue to increase, Apple could of course respond publicly.
