Despite reported production issues with the Apple Watch Series 7, Apple is reportedly sticking to its plan to unveil the new smartwatch in the middle of the month. However, it will be available in very limited quantities at launch, according to Mark Gurman.
In the latest Output In his "Power On" newsletter, Bloomberg journalist and Apple leaker Mark Gurman outlines three possible scenarios: The Apple Watch Series 7 announcement is delayed while production issues are resolved, the announcement is brought forward and the device is only available in limited quantities, or the device is announced but not released until later. However, Gurman believes the product will be announced at the September event, expected on September 14.
