At the end of August, the Apple analyst claimed in a letter to investors that Apple would introduce satellite communication support through a custom chip with the iPhone 13. While other analysts quickly disputed this claim, Mark Gurman once again confirmed Apple's plan in this regard. writes Gurman in his latest newsletter “Power On” that satellite communications could be included but only for mobile phones “in select markets.”
