A special debut event will mark the release of Billie Eilish's Apple TV+ documentary and include a performance of one of her songs, discussions with director RJ Cutler, and other surprises.

Billie Eilish: The World's A Little Blurry will debut on Apple's streaming service on Thursday, February 25, one day earlier than its original release date. To celebrate, a global live event will be held. The special event will include an exclusive performance of "ilomilo," the song from which the documentary takes its name, as well as interviews with Eilish and others, hosted by Apple Music host and DJ Zane Lowe. The event begins at 9 p.m. Eastern Time and can be watched for free on the Apple TV app, Apple Music app, and Eilish's YouTube channel.

The documentation itself will be available after the event exclusive on Apple TV+. The film traces Eilish's life and meteoric career, including intimate behind-the-scenes footage. The documentary shows the now 18-year-old sensation as she tours and records her debut studio album, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?"

The album won three Grammys in 2019, including Album of the Year. Apple originally announced the documentary in September 2020. Eilish has collaborated with Apple on previous projects, including the "Today at Apple" sessions, where users could remix the artist's song "You Should See Me in a Crown." (Image: Apple)

Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
