Apple has unexpectedly released iOS 13.6.1, iPadOS 13.6.1 and a supplementary update to macOS 10.15.6.

Apple rolled out iOS 13.6.1, iPadOS 13.6.1 and a supplementary update to macOS 10.15.6 for all users late in the evening. According to Apple's release notes, the supplementary update fixes a problem that could cause virtualization applications such as VMware to crash. It also fixes a problem that could cause the iMac 2020 to appear washed out after waking from sleep mode. Apple is also said to fix some bugs in iOS 13.6.1. For example, a problem has been solved whereby unnecessary files with system data are not automatically deleted when the available storage space is running low. In addition, the update solves problems with temperature control and encounter notifications. Below you will find the update descriptions for iOS 13.6.1 and macOS 10.15.6 in full.
