Apple recently added three new Mac models to its "Find My Configuration" file, according to a report by Nicolás Álvarez. While the exact models are unknown, it's speculated that they could be desktop Mac models that don't need to be tracked like portable Macs.
Apple has recently switched from more specific model names to general "Mac" designations, making new Mac models more difficult to identify. Apple is expected to introduce new Mac updates in the near future, with the Mac Pro being the most significant update to the desktop Mac.

The new models listed in the Find My Configuration file listed are Mac14.8, Mac14.13, and Mac14.14. They appear alongside the identifiers for the latest M2 and M2 Pro Mac mini models. Since the list in the configuration file concerns the removal of “disconnection monitoring,” this suggests that these could be desktop Mac models that do not need to be tracked via “Find My.” It is unclear which specific models these are, as Apple recently switched from more specific model names to general “Mac” designations that can apply to any member of the Mac family. It is also unclear whether these new designations represent three variants of a single product or two variants of one product and one variant of another.
WWDC 2023: Desktop Macs will not be part of the keynote
Apple is expected to introduce new Mac updates soon. The Mac Pro is the most important update to the desktop Mac, but it is not expected to be introduced at WWDC in June. The Mac Studio is also unlikely to be updated until the high-end models of the M3 chip family are ready, which is not expected until early 2024. The iMac is the only other option for a desktop Mac update, with an update not expected until the second half of the year at the earliest. While it is unclear which specific models are involved, there are indications that Apple could introduce new desktop Mac models soon.
