Apple Fitness+ is bringing a breath of fresh air to the fitness world. With a variety of new programs, the integration of Strava and other exciting updates, the service is significantly expanding its offering. Users can look forward to targeted training, inspiring content and useful new functions. Here you can find out all the details about the latest features that are now available.

Fitness is becoming more and more digital and Apple Fitness+ shows how technology and exercise can be seamlessly combined. With the aim of making your training more effective, varied and socially connected, Apple Fitness+ offers an impressive selection of new Tools and programs. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced athlete - there's something for everyone. Particularly noteworthy is the integration with the popular fitness app Strava, which makes your training even more visible and encourages exchange with others.

Integration with Strava

The Strava integration is one of the highlights of the new Apple Fitness+ updates. You can now share your Fitness+ workout directly in the Strava app. Not only basic information such as duration and calories is displayed, but also details such as the episode image, episode number, trainer name and various metrics. This makes it easier to share your progress with the Strava community. In addition, Apple announced that well-known Strava athletes will participate in Fitness+ workouts as guests over the course of the year. This cooperation offers you the opportunity to learn from the best in the scene and get new inspiration for your own training. Another plus: Strava subscribers, whether new or existing, can now use Apple Fitness+ for up to three months free of charge.

New training programs

Apple Fitness+ is expanding its offering with several new programs that address different needs and goals.

  • Progressive Strength Training: This three-week program is specifically designed to help you build strength. It includes twelve 30-minute workouts that cover all major muscle groups. Week one focuses on progressive loading, week two on time under tension, and week three on dynamic strength. The program can be repeated as you get stronger, providing long-term training options.
  • Pickleball Program: Pickleball, one of the fastest growing sports, is the focus of this new training program. It combines strength, endurance and mobility exercises to help you improve your performance on the court. Catherine Parenteau, a world-leading pickleball player, brings her knowledge and experience to the workouts.
  • Yoga Peak Poses: These workshops are ideal if you want to improve your yoga technique. Each unit is dedicated to a specific pose and consists of 10 minutes of preparation and 10 minutes of practice. This allows you to work specifically on your self-confidence and body control.

  • Introduction to Breath Meditation: This new program makes it easy for you to integrate meditation techniques into your daily life. With five 10-minute sessions, you will learn how to use your breath to reduce stress, improve concentration and increase your energy. In addition, the topic of "breath" has been introduced as a new meditation topic that complements the existing topics such as rest, sleep and sound.

New content and special features

Apple Fitness+ not only offers new programs but also fresh content that makes your training inspiring and varied.

  • Time to Walk: The popular audio series “Time to Walk” returns with new episodes on January 13. Celebrity guests include Adam Scott, Steve Aoki, Lana Condor, Tiffany Haddish, Rita Ora, Daddy Yankee and Maddie Ziegler. Their stories and experiences are intended to motivate you to stay active.
  • Artist Spotlights: Music plays a central role in many workouts and the new Artist Spotlights are dedicated to this fact. Train to the sounds of artists such as Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar. The specially curated playlists give your training a personal touch.
  • Limited Apple Watch award: Anyone who closes their three activity rings for seven days in a row in January will receive an exclusive Apple Watch award. Additional motivation to start the year actively.

Apple Fitness+ combines innovation and motivation

Apple Fitness+ is once again setting new standards with its new features and programs. The integration of Strava opens up exciting new possibilities, and the new programs offer content suitable for every fitness level. Whether you want to build muscle, improve your yoga technique or simply become more active - Apple Fitness+ has the right offer for you. Try it out and be inspired by the new functions.
