According to current status, iOS 15 does not seem to be a blessing for every user. Now there are increasing reports that the Siri operation of the AirPods Pro is buggy.

Like on Reddit described, some users who ask Siri to disable active noise cancellation or enable transparency mode on the AirPods Pro receive the message "Sorry, that doesn't work." They all have one thing in common - their iPhones are running iOS 15. Interestingly, however, the bug does not occur for all users. That means there are also reports to the contrary - as is often the case. However, Apple also seems to be aware of the error. According to a Reddit user, it does not occur under the first iOS 15.1 beta. Those affected who subsequently switched to the beta were also able to confirm this.

When will Apple release iOS 15.1?

A solution seems to be in sight. However, anyone who is not testing a beta and is affected by the problem will have to be patient and in the meantime have to resort to the control center to switch between transparency mode and noise suppression. When will Apple release iOS 15.1 for all users? provides, is currently unknown. Since the beta phase has only just started, it could take a while before the update is available.
