Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has spoken again. In a letter to investors, he summarizes Apple's future and names products that we can expect. Topics include an AR headset and the iCar. He emphasizes that the Apple car will revolutionize the vehicle market - just as the iPhone did in 2007.

Products such as the AR headset and iCar are expected to give Apple a market value of over 2 trillion US dollars. Kuo therefore predicts that the iGroup's market value will double. Apple's services are also expected to achieve high growth.

Apple reinvents the car

Apple's entry into the automotive market is set to revolutionize the world of cars. Modern technologies and special innovations such as AR are set to make the iCar stand out from the competition. Apple's ability to harmonize software with hardware is the biggest advantage here. Project "Titan" was launched in 2014. Initially, 4,000 employees are said to have worked on it. Apple is said to have researched a cockpit without a steering wheel and pedals.

AR displays and spherical wheels are also said to be part of it. Hundreds of employees were later laid off and management was restructured. Currently, research is said to only relate to autonomous driving. However, there are also rumors that Apple's plans are once again moving towards iCar.

AR glasses coming soon

According to Kuo, Apple is planning to introduce AR glasses in 2020. A revolutionary user interface for all current devices is also planned.

What Apple will actually deliver in the next few years remains to be seen, of course – but it remains exciting anyway.

Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
