Apple has been hiring engineers since 2019 to "develop the next generation of media apps for Windows." The Apple TV app has already been released on Xbox, and two more apps are now planned.
The US blog 9to5mac reportedthat Apple wants to place the music and podcast apps in the Microsoft Store this year. According to the sources, Apple is said to have tested both applications in an internal beta, which are intended for the Microsoft platform. However, it remains unclear whether the two apps are intended for the Xbox or also for Windows PCs. The Apple TV app has so far only been presented on Microsoft's games console. This means that the music and podcast apps could also only be intended for the console. But there are also reasons that give hope for a Windows debut.
