In the last few weeks, the rumor mill about the iPhone 2019 line-up has increased significantly – now a new photo has surfaced that is said to show the molds of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max.

A new image recently appeared on the Chinese social media site Weibo. The images were discovered and shared by Slashleaks. The photos are said to show the iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max for production purposes. In addition to the exact housing dimensions, the dummy also shows the controversial camera square. The images also show that Apple will stick with the well-known notch for another year. Nothing can be read from the dummies that is not already known. The new camera module is square - it is said to contain three lenses, a flash and a microphone. If the image is real, it confirms the latest statement by star analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and many other reports that the next iPhone generation will have a new camera module.

Leaked molds not the first time

It remains unknown who the pictures actually come from. The templates could also be based on previous speculations and reports from various platforms. However, if this is the real mold of the upcoming flagships, history would repeat itself a third time. Similar pictures were published in April 2017 and 2018 - these later turned out to be real. This year, three iPhone models are expected again, each with a 5.8", 6.1" and 6.5" display. The successors to the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are expected to have a triple camera The iPhone XR 2, on the other hand, will be equipped with a dual camera. The presentation of the new iPhone line-up will most likely take place in September.
