The rumors surrounding the iPhone 17 are gaining momentum. After more and more details about the new model series have leaked out in recent weeks, there's now a particularly clear picture of all the expected iPhone 17 devices. Leaker Sonny Dickson has published a photo showing all variants of the upcoming generation—including the color options. This clearly shows the direction Apple is taking this year.

Speculation about the color scheme of the new iPhone 17 series has been circulating for some time. The Pro models, in particular, are in focus, as Apple is apparently experimenting with more vibrant colors there. There have already been hints of certain colors through leaked camera bezels, statements from analysts, and various reports. Now, Sonny Dickson provides a concrete image that confirms many of these speculations.

iPhone 17 Pro: Four colors, two of them strikingly bold

The published photo shows four color variants of the iPhone 17 Pro: black, white, navy blue, and orange. All four colors had previously been mentioned in leaks. What's new is that for the first time, we can now see how these tones might appear on the device itself. The navy blue and orange are particularly striking. Both colors are significantly richer than the more subdued tones Apple usually uses on its Pro models. This is unusual, as the color palette there has previously been mostly muted and sober. Observers have already noted that the orange and blue are strongly reminiscent of the colors of Auburn University—a not uninteresting coincidence, since Apple CEO Tim Cook studied there. If these colors actually come to market in this form, it would be a clear departure from the previous line. It would be the first time Apple has used such vibrant colors on a Pro model.

iPhone 17 Air: Lighter tones and a gold finish

The iPhone 17 Air is also pictured. It will apparently be available in four colors: black, white, light blue, and a shade that looks like a light gold. This gold finish is slightly softer and brighter than the bold gold Apple used previously. The color selection for the iPhone 17 Air fits the model's positioning between the standard and Pro models. The colors are stylish, but not as striking as the new Pro colors. This likely appeals to Apple users who value a sleek design but don't want overly eye-catching colors.

iPhone 17: Standard model with classic and playful tones

The regular iPhone 17 models are also included in the image. They are shown in black, white, a particularly light blue, and light pink. These tones are more pastel and appear friendlier and lighter than the colors of the other models. The light pink, in particular, is a more playful shade that Apple has used before, for example, on the iPhone 5c or the iPhone 13. The light blue is reminiscent of previous standard models, but this time it appears a bit softer. Overall, the colors appear more youthful and less technical.

The source: Sonny Dickson with a strong leak history

Leaker Sonny Dickson is no stranger to the scene. In the past, he has published several authentic preview images of Apple hardware that later turned out to be accurate. He is known for sourcing early dummy models created based on CAD drawings and supplier information. This time, too, everything seems to indicate that the leaked models are authentic.

iPhone 17 brings a breath of fresh air to the color palette

The iPhone 17 is expected to be released this year in significantly more diverse colors than its predecessors. The Pro models, with their vibrant blue and orange, are particularly striking. The Air model remains somewhat more subdued in color, and the standard model brings back classic, lighter tones. Anyone looking to buy an iPhone 17 will have to choose not only between models, but also between very different color schemes. With the new leak, the picture of the iPhone 17 series is now clearer than ever. However, there are likely to be a few surprises in store before the official launch in September.
