In just over 48 hours, Apple will unveil the next iPhone generation – the iPhone 13. Now the well-known “last minute” rumors are increasing.
Well-informed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has now published a report for investors in which he sets out his expectations for the iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7 and AirPods 3. Kuo writes that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available with up to one terabyte of storage. According to the analyst, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini models will be available in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB storage sizes. This means that the 64 GB storage capacity will be completely eliminated. As a reminder, both the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini are available in 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB storage configurations.

As for the Pro versions, Kuo states that both devices will be available in 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. As a reminder, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are available in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. However, Kuo goes on to warn of supply shortages. The letter states:
We believe the current challenge in iPhone production is the component shortage. Due to the component shortage, the older models were cut by about 5-10% in 3Q21. iPhone 13 shipments in 4Q21 could pose a potential risk due to the component shortage. However, the impact on iPhone 13 shipments is limited. We believe iPhone 13 shipments in 2021 can grow by more than 10% over iPhone 12 shipments in 2020.
