In recent days, rumors have been increasing about Apple Glass – the upcoming AR headset. Now there is news from the development.

Taiwanese news site DigiTimes has provided a preview of a new report on Apple's AR glasses. The paid report will be available from tomorrow available But the preview already reveals something interesting. According to DigiTimes, Apple has moved into the second phase of developing the new augmented reality product. However, no concrete details are available. Just yesterday, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo spoke out and explainedthat Apple will announce the product this year. Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has also revealed some details in the past. He claims to have learned from internal sources that Apple is developing both an AR and VR headset.

Apple AR glasses with their own app store

Gurman explained that prototypes of Apple's headset resemble a smaller version of Facebook's Oculus Quest. But these are lighter and slimmer. In an internal meeting, Apple is said to have said that the headset could be announced in 2021 and released in 2022, while the glasses will not be released until 2023 at the earliest. Gurman claimed that Apple's glasses can display information such as text messages and maps in front of the wearer's eyes. Users will also be able to control the product with Siri. In addition, the headset and glasses will have their own app store. However, it is currently not known when exactly the announcement might be made. If the DigiTimes report contains further interesting details, we will update and mark this article accordingly. (Photo by Marvelous Studio / Bigstockphoto)

Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
