The Apple community is eagerly awaiting the release of the Apple Vision Pro headset, which promises to be a groundbreaking innovation in the field of augmented reality. Below we will take a closer look at the latest information on the upcoming release of the headset.

The year 2024 will be very exciting for Apple fans, as the launch of the Apple Vision Pro headset is imminent. The long-awaited augmented reality headset was originally planned to hit the market at the beginning of the year, but according to recent reports, the release date could be pushed back to February.

Employees receive training

Apple has not yet announced a specific release date for the Apple Vision Pro headset, but insider information suggests that it will be available in February rather than early in the year. Mark Gurman, a renowned Apple expert, expressed recently spoke about preparations and predictions regarding the Apple Vision Pro headset in his Bloomberg newsletter "Power On". He reported that Apple's internal goal is to launch the headset in February. At the same time, he admitted that the release is expected "at least before March" unless there are unforeseen obstacles. Preparations for the sale of the Apple Vision Pro headset are in full swing. In a further step, Apple plans to send selected employees from its Apple Stores to Apple Park in January to train them to sell and support the new headset.

Apple Vision Pro: Only available via in-store pickup

This training is crucial as the Apple Vision Pro requires a complex setup that must be customized to each customer's needs. The training, which is set to begin in mid-January, will provide each employee with two days of intensive training, as Mark Gurman reports. This training is aimed at ensuring that Apple Store employees can serve customers with comprehensive knowledge and "carefully tailored" support. The decision to allow customers to pick up the headset in store is expected to be welcomed by customers as it will give them the opportunity to receive personalized advice and fitting. Apple plans to provide the equipment in Apple Stores to assemble and package the Apple Vision Pro on site to ensure a seamless customer experience. Please note, at launch the device will only be available in the US, with other markets to follow. (Image: Apple)
