Apple has now significantly expanded its service division. In addition to Apple Music, there is News+, TV+ and Apple Arcade. However, a large subscription bundle is not yet available.
According to a new Bloomberg report, it is possible that Apple will introduce a subscription bundle for its services next year. The whistleblower is an anonymous Apple News+ publisher who points to a clause in the contract with Cupertino. This states that the company is allowed to bundle News+ with other Apple services - if the company wants to. A subscription bundle would certainly make sense for users of several of these services, as such packages are cheaper. Currently, Apple Music and Apple News+ each cost $10 per month, while TV+ and Apple Arcade each cost $5 per month. Subscribers to all services should therefore welcome the move.
Apple News+ promotes mixed feelings
Apple itself does not seem to be averse to this either, as the company is already experimenting with a small bundle. For example, students with an Apple Music subscription receive free access to Apple TV+ - but the promotion is only available for a limited time. Bloomberg also notes in its report that some media managers are not particularly happy with Apple News+ - according to them, the payouts so far have been lower than expected. However, there are also said to be satisfied publishers.
