For weeks there has been speculation about what new products Apple will soon present. A keynote in March was previously considered certain. Now, according to a new report, everything is set to change.

Already yesterday, rumors were rife about the upcoming Apple KeynoteIn addition to new entry-level iPads, an iPad mini 5, the AirPods 2 and AirPower are also expected. Now not only the AirPods 2 will be missing from the upcoming keynote. Journalist John Paczkowski from BuzzFeed claims to have learned that the upcoming keynote will be held without hardware presentations. According to him, the event will focus purely on the new subscription service.

Apple News Magazines

According to old reports, Apple wants to relaunch the Texture service it bought. An official confirmation from the iGroup is still pending. The service is to be integrated into Apple News and offer unlimited access to various newspapers and magazines. According to speculation, the premium service will cost $10 a month. Now, Paczkowski says, the new Apple News Magazines service is to be introduced. No iPads, no AirPods, no AirPower. In addition, an introduction of the new Apple TV streaming service possible - says the journalist. The Netflix competitor is also set to go live this year. According to BuzzFeed, the keynote will take place on March 25, 2019 in the Steve Jobs Theater. It remains to be seen whether the event will actually be held without new hardware. It also remains to be seen whether the new services will be available outside the USA after the launch - after all, Apple News has not yet made it to Germany.
