This allows the AirPods to pass the direction on to Apple Vision Pro, which then adjusts the balance of the Spatial Audio. Although it hasn't been officially confirmed yet, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes the infrared camera on the new AirPods could potentially be used for gesture control.
