Almost every rumor predicts that new Apple products will be released in the spring. Now star analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has commented on Apple's plans and given his forecast for 2019.

The analyst is usually considered to be very well informed and his predictions almost always come true. According to his sources, Apple will release new iPad models, AirPods 2 and AirPower in the first half of the year. But he also has something to say about the iPhone 2019, Apple Watch and MacBooks.

AirPods 2 & AirPower & iPod touch

The AirPods 2 should have a much better Bluetooth connection, among other things. They can also be charged wirelessly thanks to the new charging case. At the same time, Apple also wants to introduce its own Qi charging mat AirPower This allows charging of up to three devices at the same time. In addition to the new accessories, Apple is also planning to introduce a new iPod touch - according to Kuo. The first hints were already found in the iOS 12.2 Beta.

iPad 10″ & iPad mini 5

The analyst also did not leave out the two iPad models. According to the report, the successor to the 9.7″ iPad will be released with a full 10.2″. The larger screen is made possible by reducing the frame. In addition, Apple is planning to introduce the fifth generation of the iPad miniBoth devices are said to mainly feature improved processors – there are no special innovations.

Apple Watch Series 5

There is also something to note about the Apple Watch. According to Kuo, the ECG function be released in other countries. It is still unknown whether Germany will be included. According to him, an Apple Watch with a ceramic case will be introduced again this year. Such a design is not new - Apple last offered it in the third generation of the smartwatch.

iPhones 2019 with new charging option

The topic of iPhones remains interesting. According to Kuo's sources, there will be no changes to the display technology or the size of the devices, all three models will remain the same. Even the notch will remain unchanged for the third time in a row. The hotly debated Lightning connector will also be around for another year. But new functions are still expected to appear. One of them turns the iPhone into a charging station for other devices. It should be possible to charge the AirPods with the iPhone, for example. There will also be a number of improvements on the inside. The biggest innovation is the triple camera It remains to be seen whether both premium models will be equipped with the three lenses – it is conceivable that only the Max version of the iPhone will be given the new camera.

New MacBook Pro with 16.5″

There will also be new MacBooks this year. According to Kuo, Apple is planning to introduce a MacBook Pro model with up to 16.5". The design will also be completely new. In addition to the new Pro model, the 13" MacBook Pro will also receive an extension in its configuration. According to the report, the option of 32 GB RAM will be added.

6K display & Mac Pro

The analyst predicts that the company will make a comeback on the display market. According to him, Apple is planning to introduce a 6K screen. This will be around 31.6 inches in size and offer a 6K resolution. This information also matches a statement from Apple's marketing chief Phil Schiller in 2017, according to which Cupertino is working on its own screen. The Mac Pro, on the other hand, will only receive a small internal update.
