Apple presents the new versions of macOS, iOS, watchOS and tvOS every year at the WWDC (World Wide Developer Conference). The mobile operating system iOS attracts particularly great interest.

Now the iPhone producer from Cupertino has sent invitations to selected members of the press, once again confirming the upcoming event. The WWDC 2019 (World Wide Developer Conference) will open on June 3rd at 7:00 p.m. CET in the McEnery Convention Center, San Jose. The world-famous developer conference will be held for the 30th time in a row and will end on June 7th. This year, Apple should present the next major iOS version - iOS 13. After iOS 12, according to Apple, was supposed to be a pure performance update with only a few new features, iOS 13 is eagerly awaited. The main focus of iOS 12 was on optimizing performance and improving battery life.

Beta versions for developers expected the same evening

In addition, Apple introduced screen time and smaller innovations such as Facetime for groups. The updates were repeatedly plagued with bugs, some of which were serious - to the annoyance of many users. Of course, expectations for iOS 13 are particularly high. In addition to the iPhone operating system, watchOS 6, macOS 10.15 and tvOS 13 are also expected. If Apple continues to stick to old traditions, the first developer beta versions for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac and Apple TV will be released that same evening. The public beta for iOS 13, tvOS 13 and macOS 10.15 should follow a few weeks later - the final versions will most likely be introduced this fall. Like every keynote, this event can also be viewed on Apple's website in the live stream directly. Do you want to test iOS 13 in advance? Here you can find out everything about the Apple Beta Program.

Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
