The Reality Pro headset is powered by xrOS and promises immersive experiences for games, content and more. WWDC23 begins with the Apple Keynote on June 5th at 7:00 p.m. our time. The next level of immersion: The Apple Reality Pro Headset
The Reality Pro headset is powered by xrOS, a new software platform, powered by a virtual reality platform. This allows developers to create immersive experiences without having to program everything from scratch. Similar to Meta's headsets, AR apps can be created using Siri. The Reality Pro headset therefore promises not only impressive technology but also a simple developer experience. The use of the term "new worlds" suggests the use of virtual reality to create immersive experiences in games and other content. Although the term "metaverse" is often used in this context, Tim Cook has already expressed his reluctance and thinks that most people don't know exactly what is meant by it. (Image: Apple)
