Threads is launching exciting new features that allow you to schedule posts and be even more creative with your shared content. Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri announced that these updates are available now.

The world of social media is fast-moving, and platforms like Threads are constantly working on improvements to make your life easier. With Threads' new features, you can not only schedule posts in advance but also better customize tagged content. Find out exactly what changes you can expect and how you can make the most of them here.

Schedule posts – now up to 75 days in advance

One of the largest innovations with threads is the ability to schedule posts. This allows you to organize your content in advance and saves you from having to post manually every day. The new feature is easy to use:

  • Create your post as usual.
  • Open the three-dot menu in the top right corner and select the “Schedule” option.
  • Choose a date and time when you want your post to be published.

You can then find planned posts in your drafts folder. From there you can edit or delete them at any time. One small disadvantage: replies cannot yet be scheduled. Nevertheless, this function offers you enormous flexibility, especially if you are pursuing a long-term content strategy.

Marking function: Customize shared content

Another exciting update is the new tagging feature, which allows you to customize shared content to your liking. You can use it to highlight existing posts, paint over certain areas, or add arrows. This feature is perfect for presenting information more clearly or adding your own accents. This option is currently being tested in some countries, but will soon be available internationally. This opens up a whole new way for Threads to personalize content and make it more creative.

Threads: More control and creativity for your content

Threads stands out from other platforms with these new features. Scheduling posts gives you more control over your content, while the tagging feature allows you to make shared posts more personal. Now is the perfect time to try out the new capabilities of Threads and take your content to the next level. Are you already active on Threads? Then follow us and stay up to date! Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
